We fancied a weekend away but couldn't go far due to work commitments so we decided on the Woodbridge Inn near Pewsey. Whilst Mike was paying the fees, he said that we needed a pint after the journey we'd have. The landlord asked how far we'd come and we replied ' From Amesbury' (about ten miles away) Well his face was a picture!
We also rode an easy ride on the pushbikes up to the Seven Stars Inn at Bottlesford for a very nice meal and couple of drinks.
