Overnight at Brookside Farm CS nr. Worcester before going to the Lakes

 

   First stop on the way up to the Lakes was Brookside Farm CS, near Worcester. 
    It was tightish getting in but OK. 

     We set up next to a field of very friendly horses and donkeys. They were lovely!

    Mike had tried booking a meal at the March Hare pub, just up the road but he never got a reply from his emails or the phone wasn't answered.  So he booked a table at The Oak at Upton Snodbury for dinner. 

    What a lovely pub! Very unique (for a change). Some of the ceiling was made up of wine bottles. Very different but very aesthetic. Dinner was lovely; the best seafood linguine I've ever had!

    Set off the next day heading for the lakes. The ground was rather soft and our friends, Carol & John had trouble getting off the field.  We all rallied together and all was good.
